The method

Every chapter follows the same skeleton: a conversation, exercises, the grammar of the lesson and a vocabulary list. In his foreword the author writes that the book aims to help students “understand, write, read and speak the Turkish language through a step by step approach”. The four volumes together form a complete course; each volume has ten chapters.

Semsera × Tahberer

Through a collaboration that began in 2026, the book went live on Semsera's language portal SemsLanguage, on the shelf “We Are Learning with Bekircan Tahberer”. The text is read chapter by chapter as the author uploaded it; every screen carries the credit “© Bekircan Tahberer 2015 — published with the author's permission”, and the book is not distributed as a bulk download. The same shelf holds German, French and Italian books prepared by Semsera using the Tahberer method; they credit the method and claim no authorship.

Dil Baharı — a spring of languages

Semsera's “Dil Baharı” call aims to make language learning free and accessible. The open publication of Tahberer's book is the first big step of that call: a complete course for anyone who wants to learn Turkish, readable without a registration wall.
